About me

My journey with kinesiology began when I was about six years old. I still vividly remember my first balance session, where the practitioner helped me express feelings I had never been able to articulate before.

At eleven, I moved to the U.S.A., and kinesiology faded from my mind until after I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Human Physiology. Though medical school seemed the natural next step, a brief visit back to South Africa altered my path, leading me to where I am today, twenty years later.

I began studying kinesiology in 2009 and fully immersed myself in the field. I was fortunate to study under and then alongside Gudrun Lauterbach and Jenni Halkett in South Africa. Just two years into my studies, I transitioned into teaching. Starting with Anatomy and Physiology, I now teach a variety of modalities including Touch For Health, Neuro-Training, Neural Organisational Technique, Emotional Kinesiology and various other Kinesiology Centre, Natal workshops. I’ve also recently created my own workshop. In 2013, I joined forces with Jenni and we started working teaching together as Shift Happens, A Space For Learning.

Kinesiology has significantly shaped my personal and professional life, revealing my true passion: empowering others on their journeys. At this point in my life, by son keeps me very busy and so limits the number of clients I can see and so teaching remains my priority. It is a privilege to share this incredible work and an honor to be part of each student’s journey.
