The National Association of Specialised Kinesiologists in Southern Africa (ASKSA) with branches in the various provinces is the only association that represents the interests of the profession in South Africa. Associations in most countries are represented worldwide by the International Association of Specialised Kinesiologists (IASK) and the International Kinesiology College of Zurich (IKC)
